NBA 2K12 is the most anticipated basketball game this year. You can see why. Compared to last year's game, which was a significant improvement on the previous game, the new edition is a straightforward add-on. The graphics are smoother, the presentation is better, and the gameplay is a lot more intuitive. The game is excellent as a basketball game. The development team have done a great job of capturing the intangibles of basketball (passing, passing off to the open man, dribbling, heading the ball and so on). The game provides a lot of additional features, including the ability to play solo or with a friend (against the AI), a blog, and the ability to watch and listen to NBA players in action.
It's also one of those games which only uses a fraction of the abilities that modern graphics cards have to offer. While the game looks good, it just doesn't look good. The controls are clumsy, the AI is very poor, the sound is dreadful, and the game doesn't show a hint of the graphical prowess of a modern graphics card. To put it another way: it's like going to watch a film on a 16mm projector and the picture is out of focus. The game is the same. 827ec27edc
