Mortis Ghost created an official web page for OFF at an unknown date (possibly around the same time the OFF translations were created). The website is entirely in French and has not yet been translated. The website itself contained info about the game. This also includes different images created by Mortis Ghost, OFF Downloads (in multiple languages), sketches, wallpapers, sheet music, a solution page (also in French) and a peculiar folder named "DossierSG", which is a lengthy review created by someone named "ShadowGate". It is twelve pages long and has yet to be translated. As of 2021, all downloadable content from that site can be found under the games section of the Unproductive Fun Time site.

RPG Maker VX, also referred to as RMVX, its Japanese release date was Dec. 27 2007, and official release date in America was February 29, 2008. In this new maker, the interface is more user-friendly, allowing new users to create games with ease. The framerate was increased to 60 frames per second, providing much smoother animation in comparison to RMXP's often-choppy 40fps. The programming language Ruby is still implemented, and the game's default programming has been overhauled to allow more freedom to those scripting in new features. New editor and a new RTP are included, this time in a much simpler "blocky" style. The default battle system is comparable to that of the Dragon Quest series or its predecessor RM2k, with a frontal view of the battlefield and detailed text descriptions of each action taken. One notable disadvantage from the previous version, however, is the lack of support for multiple tilesets when mapping, leaving the player with only a finite number of unique tiles with which to depict all the game's environments. Multiple player-made workarounds exist, but this remains a sore point among many RMVX users.
RPG Maker VX Ace, also known as VXAce or simply "Ace", was released by Enterbrain in Japan on December 15, 2011. It was released in the United States on March 15, 2012 as a digital download. It was later made available through Steam, and is also now available as a physical CD. RPG Maker VX Ace is essentially an overhauled version of RPG Maker VX, and removes the issue with multiple tilesets. Battle backgrounds were re-introduced, and are separated into top and bottom halves. Spells, skills, and items can all now have their own damage and recovery formulas, although a quick calculation method reminiscent of the older RPG Makers is available. The VX RTP was redesigned for VX Ace, and a new soundtrack featuring higher quality techno-pop tracks was included. With VX Ace came a large quantity of DLC Resource Packages offered by Enterbrain, also available through Steam.
First of all, make sure you have the most recent download of the game - older downloads are missing a lot of fixes. If you have version 2.45, you can download a patch that fixes game-stopping bugs here.
MIDI music isn't supported well in new versions of Windows. CoolSoft's VirtualMIDISynth should fix the problem. If the default soundfont still has issues, then you can download a free one from the CoolSoft website.
Some video cards don't like the way that RPG Maker handles full-screen mode. There's an easy step-by-step guide to fix this issue here. ( ) If that doesn't solve the problem, you can always download RPG Maker 2000 (link not provided) and run the game in test mode through the editor.
Recommended installation procedure: Follow the Download pages' description about which files you need to download, usually a 'Full Game' and sometimes a 'Patch' file. Create a new folder with directory and name of your choice and move the downloaded files into this newly created folder. (Where you place it on your PC doesn't matter as long as you remember where it is. SSD recommended.)
"Mack and Blue" is better known as First Seed Material or REFMAP. The site is indeed down, and for good it seems, but this topic on rpgmaker.net has archived both the 2K/3 and VX versions of the set.
Official releases can be downloaded from Material Maker's itch.io page. The full documentation can be found here. The source code for Material Maker is available on GitHub. This is also where you can report bugs and submit ideas for new features. You can also join the Discord server for additional help or to chat with other users
That is, you do not mind sharing the game code in some cases. And I went all the way to learning rpg maker mv by myself repeating most of the mechanics that you use in the game and invented a few of my own. I could not even think that the you would share or im just too shy. Well, when I finish my project, I would be interested in exchanging the codes of our projects if you don't mind.
And when I tried to download the demo from here, it won't open. I don't want to make a purchase here if the same thing will happen in the full game. Any plans to have this updated? MacBook is stupid :(
it may depend on your computer but most any user would be able to run the game file. But be sure that the version downloaded is the OSX version too. Running the windows version on a mac may give a similar message.
Hello there, I created a demo for a new turn based jrpg developed with rpg maker mv, do you want to try it? This is the demo's download link from itch.io (sorry for bothering you)! -rerum-monstris-monsters-island
Of course! In Lutris hit the + button in the upper left corner. Select "add locally installed game" and in the Game info tab under the Runner drop-down menu select Wine. Then under the Game options tab add the Executable. I left the .exe in the downloads folder which might not be the best practice but it works! I didn't change anything else on this page. Same with the Runner options and System options tabs, I left everything there the same. After that try playing it in Lutris, and if it runs you can add it to Steam and should be good to go! The controls need to be remapped but that's pretty straightforward. Let me know if this works :)
How did you get it to run? I'm new to my deck and Linux and lost lol. I downloaded and unzipped it in the download folder, tried running the .exe and .rpg files, neither worked. I read elsewhere in the thread someone used lutris so I downloaded that, nothing found.
i just like it is all, i've been using it for decades! i never enjoyed making things with RPG maker. i couldn't figure out how to get my own graphics into it and gave up. OHR has a unique flavour.

I tried downloading this on my mac and the application will not open. Instead, it opens a window stating that "The application cannot open". I was wondering if anyone else was having these problems or if this bug was just due to my Macbook being odd. 2b1af7f3a8
